Who we are

Care Connectors is a care marketplace that helps families, carers and care services find each other by postcode. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we protect it.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address, the details you add to your profile (such as your name, postcode area, bio and any verification confirmations), and the contact details you choose to list for others to unlock.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and profile
  • To show your profile to people searching in your postcode area
  • To let members unlock contact details you have chosen to share
  • To process your one-off contact unlock payment
  • To keep the platform safe and to contact you about your account

Contact details and unlocks

Your contact details stay hidden by default. Only a member who pays the one-off unlock fee for your profile is able to see them. Unlocks are recorded so we can show you which profiles you have purchased.

How long we keep your data

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to close your account, we will delete your personal data unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can also ask us to stop using your information or to provide a copy of it in a portable format. To make a request, contact us using the email you received when you joined.

Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or about how we handle your data, please get in touch with us at the email address used when you set up your Care Connectors account.
